Kazakhstan is the most economically advanced country in Central Asia and plans to increase industrialization, which will increase plastics consumption. Central Asia Plast World is the most important business platform for plastics and rubber in Central Asia and will be held in Almaty in September 2023.

A truck component carrier made from a LANXESS polyamide 6 compound has won the 2022 GKV/TecPart Innovation Award presented by Verband Technische Kunststoffprodukte e.V. The structural component was developed jointly by BBP Kunststoffwerk Marbach Baier, LANXESS and a major German commercial vehicle manufacturer.

K Team Day: A day at K exhibitor Steinert

In August, the K Team from Messe Düsseldorf went to Pulheim to visit Steinert GmbH. The K exhibitor develops machines and processes for recycling a wide range of materials – including, of course, plastics. The team visited the Development & Test Center and had sorting and recycling systems explained and demonstrated.
